Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Nov 2017)
Brief Synopsis – A bachelorette decides to plan her own wedding, the only problem that she has is that she has everything but the groom.
My Take on it – This is a film that my wife has wanted to see since it was out on the theater about a year ago.
The premise is quite interesting and just about anyone can find as least something to relate to here; married people can look at the time that they searched for their other half while single people can understand the yearning for someone to share a life with.
This film is about about hopes and dreams and the belief that things will eventually happen the way you would like when the time is right.
The actors are mostly well known Israeli actors, so my wife and I recognized many of them, but they are not really known internationally.
They all do a great job of making the story feel genuine and it’s easy to believe that this kind of story can really happen.
The story doesn’t always take it self so seriously, so there are moments where you will just laugh out loud.
The plot revolves around the issue of finding the groom and they keep thing at the just the right level of ambiguity and mystery to keep things interesting the whole time.
Bottom Line – Fun film that is all about hopes and wishes and the belief that things will happen at the right time. The actors are quite good here and allow us to believe that this kind of story can really happen. They do a great job of keeping things as ambiguous and mysterious as possible the whole way through. There are many ‘light’ moments and it’s easy to see that they don’t always takes things seriously which helps keep the story completely down-to-Earth. Recommended!
