Let’s see what Darren thought of this movie:
___________________________________
For road trip movies we must have people traveling, some for a holiday, some for a mission and others for safety. This one, Logan mixes the mission and safety as an aging Logan or Wolverine whose abilities are failing him after an unknown event which has wiped most of the world’s population of mutants must help take a young mutant with similar abilities to his own to safety from the evil corporation tracking her down.
This followed in the footsteps of Deadpool, with the R-Rating which fans had be calling for, for years, a violent Wolverine movie. Well, we got it, the have body parts being ripped, sliced and diced by our favourite X-Men hero. We also have an aging Professor Charles Xavier who is struggling with a brain disease which sees his power lose control causing him to be a danger to everyone around him.
The road trip they take, takes them across American heading to the Canadian border, this doesn’t feel like a comic book movie which is why it stands out from the rest, it also marks the end of the adventures of our favourite X-Men.
This movie gets a solid 5 out 5 from me.
