Number of Times Seen – 1 (27 Feb 2018)
Brief Synopsis – After a weary gunfighter walks into a local saloon, things get strange when a narrator that the characters can all here begins to reveal information to everyone.
My Take on it – This is a short film that I came across by accident.
The premise sounded quite interesting and I was excited to see what it really was all about.
The film is really fun to watch and it gets funnier and funnier as things more along
The premise itself is actually genius because it takes an event that most of us are familiar with in some way, shape or form but by adding a new and unique element helps change things completely.
The choice to add an omniscient narrator who the characters can hear works really well in this situation and helps keep things fun the whole time.
Nick Offerman is a great choice as the narrator and stays hilarious the whole time and his soothing voice works really well in this situation as a blood thirsty narrator.
This film is hilarious the entire time as soon as the story gets moving which is literally after just mere seconds of it beginning.
Bottom Line – This was such a fun film. It takes a normal situation that we are all familiar with and add an element of an omniscient narrator in order to help try and escalate things. Offerman is hilarious as the narrator who seems a bit too out for blood but his soothing voice makes it work so well. Hilarious the whole time once you start to get into it. Highly Recommended!
