A Noble Lie: Oklahoma City 1995 (2011)

“I haven’t stopped asking question because I know what the government told us isn’t true.” – Jannie Coverdale

Number of Times Seen – 1 (26 Mar 2018)

Brief Synopsis – Documentary that presents many of the unanswered questions about the attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

My Take on it – As a fan of conspiracy theories, I was a bit excited when I came across this film.

They do a great job of presenting the information of what happened on that fateful April day in 1995 and then raise lots and lots of questions about that official information.

There is so much information thrown at the viewer that in some cases it’s a bit difficult to try and absorb all of that information at once.

They have lots of interviews with so many people connected to the events either as first respondents, policemen, firemen, family members of victim or experts in certain fields related to the event.

This gives us various perspective of what possibly happened that day and they are all quite interesting to hear.

I really liked that this film doesn’t try to cram a particular idea down out throats as the definitive answer and allows the viewer to try and weight the facts in his/her mind to try and figure out what exactly did happen.

It does manage to raise even more questions about what possibly happened on that day in a clear and concise way which might raise doubt in people’s minds as to what is the truth.

This may one day lead to a closer examination of the event from an independent source that would pass on the true finding.

Bottom Line – Really informative film for conspiracy theory enthusiasts. There is so much information presneted here that it’s sometimes a bit difficult to absorb it all. The interviews with so many people who were on the scene on that fateful morning is amazing and the various perspectives on everything that happened is interesting to hear.  This film also doesn’t give us concrete answers to most of the questions raised, but it definitely leaves open the idea that not everything is as plain as one would think. Recommended!
