Escape Plan 2: Hades (2018)

“Ya know, one of my men is missing and I think he’s in a black cell prison called Hades.. ring a bell?” – Ray

Number of Times Seen – 1 (6 Sep 2018)

Brief Synopsis – After one of his employees disappears a security expert tries to figure out a way of extracting him from a secret prison.

My Take on it – This is a film that I recall seeing the trailer for a few months ago and based solely on the trailer it’s easy to see what the film is all about.

Nothing actually happens over the course of the film that isn’t relayed in the trailer itself.

Basically, this is a film where if you see the trailer beforehand, there is little to no reason to watch the film because you already know the way things will play out.

The story itself comes across as being quite silly and nothing happens of interest throughout.

The fact that Stallone is listed as the lead is a sham since he barely appears in the film (see Trivia section below).

This is terrible from so many different standpoints and a complete waste of time to actually watch.

Bottom Line – Terrible film that gives everything away in the trailer. The story is quite silly and nothing interesting happens throughout. Stallone is just a figurehead here, eventhough he is billed as the lead. Complete waste of time.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Despite being top billed, Sylvester Stallone is only in the movie for approximately 15 minutes. (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy (2/10)
