Te premise is great and they do a wonderful job developing the characters in a way that they make them feel very realistic and accessible.
The script is written quite well because it is able to blend together both the happy and sad aspects of life and show how they affect people in the way they look and act in life.
The film has a spectacular cast that help keep things grounded while also makes the story both heartwarming and funny along the way.
Blythe Danner is great in the lead and she has great chemistry with all of her costars.
The scenes with Martin Starr and especially Sam Elliott are the best ones because they flow so well due to the strong connections between the characters.
