Number of Times Seen – 1 (8 Jul 2019)
Brief Synopsis – Documentary about a chef who was electrocuted during a hunt through the woods and found the strength to try and make sure he recovers from all of his wounds.
My Take on it – This is a film that I heard about last year from my friend Simon of Moustache Movie Reviews but for some reason never got around to checking it out.
This movie is quite fascinating because it is able to show how a person is able to constantly pick themselves up after falling down over and over.
This story is quite inspirational and it is able to take us through the physical and mental healing processes needed when faced with such problems.
It also shows how we each have an inner drive and if those feelings are present, we can find a way to persevere.
This film deals with the medical issues aspects of things in a very eye opening way since it allows us to see the kind of things that inspire him to move forward in life despite all of his various setbacks along the way and uses them as a stepping stone to once again pick himself up.
This kind of story resonates really well with so many people since most of us have gone through similar ordeals in our lives and this film gives hope to even the most helpless that it is possible to pick oneself up and persevere.
The landscapes of Montana are breath-taking to watch and much o this film was made there so there are lots of background shots of nature.
Bottom Line – Very interesting film that shows how someone can fall down over and over and do all he can to stand back up each time. Such an inspirational story that takes us through his healing process both physically and mentally while also showing us the potential that we all have deep inside us if the drive is present. The medical issues that he needed to deal with after being electrocuted are so eye opening and it’s amazing to see how he used that as a stepping stone for his life. His story is one that should resonate with so many people since most of us have gone through difficulties in life and needed to find a way to move on. Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Eduardo and his brother Eugenio, who also appears in the film are twins. (From IMDB)
