“I’ll fight for the rights of babies and dogs til my dying day. ” – Rusty
Number of Times Seen – 1 (8 Aug 2019)
Brief Synopsis – In a small town, an eager rookie cop is partnered with a veteran who became famous for catching criminals with the use of a slingshot.
My Take on it – This was a film that I knew nothing about before checking it out.
It’s a completely horrendous film that doesn’t manage to work on any level.
The fact that this is a low budget film isn’t a reason to avoid it because it can usually be expected from a production like this that the acting and cinematography are sub-par.
The problem here is that the plot is terrible and makes so little sense along the way.
It also gets more and more silly as things move along.
The characters all feel as if they are reading their lines from cue cards which makes the dialogue feel choppy and disjointed instead of letting it flow smoothly.
The plot of this film is presented in a really strange fashion and fails to actually reach a point where the story and its characters could be deemed interesting or enjoyable in any way shape or form.
Even after saying that I stated above, I can understand how this film could get a cult following, but it isn’t a film that I personally would want to watch again.
Bottom Line – Terrible film that has so little going for it. This is a really low budget film that is able to give us horrendous amateur actors and shoddy cinematography yet the worst part is that the story itself is extremely silly and doesn’t make much sense along the way. Most of the characters feel as if they are reading off of cue cards and the dialogue never seems to flow because it’s all quite choppy. The plot is presented to us from a very strange perspective and doesn’t manage to reach a point where it could actually be deemed interesting or enjoyable in any way.
