Brief Synopsis – A young girl and her friend travel from Philadelphia to New York City in order to take care of an unwanted pregnancy.

My Take on it – This is a film that I came across without knowing anything about it beforehand at all.

The movie is presented in a really believable way that is able to show us the perspective if a young girl who is scared while in the process of making a pivotal decision in her life while embarking on a very personal journey.

The tell this story in a very realistic way and the story moves along in a very detailed manner that adds so much to things.

This allows for things to be even more poignant and powerful to watch unfold.

The characters aren’t developed very well but that isn’t really necessary in a situation like this one since we can get a clear and understandable idea of what has happened based solely on the information that they give us along the way.

The quest that these young women take is quite a personal one and they show it in a very intimate way which works so well.

The acting is very realistic and it lets us understand that many young women in the whole world have gone through very similar experiences.

In addition, this story can now be used to help prepare the young women who will experience these kind of things in the future so that they will have more information about the processes involved after having watched this movie.

Bottom Line – Really believable film that manages to show us the perspective of this young, scared girl as she embarks on a very personal journey. The story is told in a very realistic way and they keep things moving in a very detailed manner helps make things even more poignant and powerful to watch. The characters aren’t developed very well but there is really no need to do so because based solely on the information that they give us, we can get a clear enough picture of the how and why they ended up on this quest. The acting is done in a great way that allows us to really believe that there are so many other young women in the world who have experienced these kind of situations and there are still many others who now will have some more information about the process after having watched this film. Highly Recommended!
