Life As We Know It (2010)

This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

“Having somebody help you doesn’t mean that you fail, it just means that you’re not in it alone” – Eric Messer

Number of Times Seen – Twice (21 Mar 2011 and 10 May 2020)

Brief Synopsis – Following the death of their best friends in a car accident, two very diverse people must work together to raise the daughter of their friends.

Bottom Line – Fun romantic comedy that works due to the great chemistry between Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel.  The story is quite unique in the way that it presents things and that helps keep things more enjoyable to watch unfold. The story is presented as an anti-romantic comedy and that helps keep things quite engaging along the way due to the very separate lives that these characters have while raising a toddler together due to their commitment to their mutual friends and their memory.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Katherine Heigl campaigned to have Josh Duhamel cast as her co-star after the studio expressed doubts about his comedic ability. (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy (7/10)
