Brief Synopsis – An upstart inventor takes a trip with his mother across the country in order to try and help them both.

Bottom Line – Fun film that works due to the great performances by Seth Rogan and Barbara Streisand. Their chemistry as a mother and son really shine through throughout the movie. The story stays fun and witty throughout and the conversation and dialogue between these two characters are quite enjoyable to watch. They find some interesting ways to help make this an even more enjoyable road trip movie due to the dynamics between the characters along the way.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The Paramount Pictures marketing department were so certain that Barbra Streisand would gain a Golden Globe nomination for her performance, that not only did they put out an ad congratulating her victory, but posted it online moments before the nominations were announced, only to be swiftly pulled when Streisand ended up without the nod. Rating – Globe Worthy (7/10) (upgrade from original review)
