In Time (2011)

This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

“Do I really want to spend my life trying not to die by mistake?” – Sylvia Weis

Number of Times Seen – Twice (16 Jan 2012 and 18 May 2020)

Brief Synopsis – In a futuristic worked where time is the most precious commodity, a young man does all he can to survive.

Bottom Line – Fun concept that unfortunately doesn’t work better. The story tries to deal with the way that people don’t relish the time that they have on this Earth and having a countdown could make them become more productive with their lives. Justin Timberlake is out of his league in this film and fails to make us care about his character because he doesn’t make things seem more plausible along the way.  The plot is a bit too predictable for its own good and that hurts things far too much.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The combination to open Philippe’s time vault 12 2 18 09 is the date on which Charles Darwin was born, 12th February 1809. This is also the date on which Abraham Lincoln was born. (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (6/10)
