This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

[to a class full of mocking kids] When I said I took out garbage… I meant human garbage [pulls out a set of grenades] There Is Something I’m Really Good At [during a gun standoff] Look I never really got this spy stuff… when I was a soldier I knew what meant sense” – JJ

Number of Times Seen – 1 (8 Jun 2020)

Brief Synopsis – A CIA agent meets his match with a young girl he has been sent to protect.

Bottom Line – Fun, yet really silly film. Dave Bautista does a nice job with this character because despite seeming so tough and gruff, he still has great comic timing. The action sequences are done well even if they are slightly over the top and help keep the story fun to watch unfold. The plot itself is pretty simplistic, but they still find ways to keep things engaging throughout.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The balcony scene is a reference to Spy Game (2003), which in turn, is likely a reference to a training technique done in Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency. (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (6/10)
