Number of Times Seen – Twice (25 Feb 2001 and 10 Jun 2020)

Brief Synopsis – After a lesbian hires a male escort to attend a wedding, she develops a scheme to get back at her ex-lover, where she will have the escort fall in love with her and then dump her.

Bottom Line – Very promising premise that doesn’t manage to stay as engaging as one might want. The cast is superb with William Baldwin, Kelly Lynch and Sherilyn Fenn in the title roles. The story unfolds like a typical rom-com but the twists used here make things slightly more unique. The problem here is the lack of real chemistry between the characters which takes away from the plausibility of the story.
