Trauma Center (2019)

“Listen carefully, the guys chasing me.. they’re the shooters.” – Madison Taylor

Number of Times Seen – 1 (10 Jun 2020)

Brief Synopsis – A women is taken to the hospital after being shot and must avoid the men who shot her who wish to retrieve the bullet lodged in her leg.

My Take on it – This is a film that I came across and decided to watch solely due to the fact that it features Bruce Willis in the poster and trailer.

Unfortunately, his role is just an extended cameo and the rest of the cast is filled with completely unknown actors who don’t manage to help make things more interesting.

Willis is wasted in his role and isn’t given enough to do here.

The film is quite long and boring and even at just 90 minutes, things feel quite drawn out the whole time.

The production level of this film is presented in a very low fashion and that also takes away from the believability of the plot as it unfolds.

The way that things unfold is quite predictable and even though they add in some ambiguous aspects to the story, things never seem to feel innovative or original in any way.

The story isn’t thrilling enough and limps along throughout most of the run time and that takes away so much from things because one would expect a story like this to be more suspenseful and thrilling.

Bottom Line – Terrible film that is so uninteresting to watch.  The cast is completely unknown besides an expanded cameo role by Willis who is wasted here in this role. The story is quite predictable and despite keeping a few things ambiguous along the way, it doesn’t manage to give us anything unique or innovative with the story. Even at just 90 minutes, this film is far too long and is quite boring the whole way through. The production level of this film is quite low and that also hurts the way that e are expected to believe the way things play out.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The second time a Nicky Whelan character has been shot. The first time was as Heidi on Neighbours when Toadie shot her at close range in Harold Bishop’s backyard. (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy (1/10)
