This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!
Number of Times Seen – 1 (21 Jun 2020)
Brief Synopsis – A screenwriter suffering from writers block and depression, tries to cure himself when he meets the girl of his dreams.
Bottom Line – Great premise that is poorly executed. Matthew Perry is perfectly cats in the lead role, but the story fails to make us care ore about him or anything that happens here. Thy do a nice job showing the interactions with his psychiatrist who in turn needs to see her own. The message of the film is bit too ambiguous which is quite unfortunate. Kevin Pollack shines as Perry’s writing partner.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – When Hudson and Sara are in the car, after being in the shop where she sees him steal a pen, you can see that the car seats have headrests. Then when they start shooting the scene from behind, there are no headrests, as they would have blocked the actors’ faces. (From IMDB)
Rating – BAFTA Worthy (5/10)
