My Take on it – This is a film that I recently came across by accident and was quite intrigued to watch as things begin to unfold.
The characters are developed really well and they are quite fascinating to watch in the various situations that they encounter along the way.
The cast is great with Rose Byrne, Chris O’Dowd and Ethan Hawke all fitting in really well in their parts because they all manage to come across as seeming so real in all that they say and do.
The film has great music that is featured in the background throughout that helps make things feel even more inspirational.
The chemistry between the various characters is electric and that helps make things seem even more curious t the viewer in order to eventually see what will happen to them.
The dialogue is written really well and helps make these characters, their feelings and their situations come alive in ways that one doesn’t necessarily expect.
Bottom Line – Really enjoyable film that works so well because the characters are so fascinating and real to watch. Byrne, O’Dowd and Hawke are all superbly cast in their roles and make us believe everything that transpires here. The music that is constantly featured in the background helps make things feel even more genuine. The characters all have fun chemistry with one another that makes the viewer care even more about what will happen to them along the way. The dialogue is written in a crisp way that is able to give each of the characters their own distinct voice while also allowing for them all to feel unique. It also helps express their feelings in the various situations that show up along the way. Recommended!
