Desert Patrol (1958)

This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

“You’d all be standing there with guns in your hands if I hadn’t shot him.” – Brody

Number of Times Seen – 1 (9 Aug 2020)

Brief Synopsis – A group of commandos are sent on secret mission during World War II but when they discover a larger group of enemy forces at their target, they must find a way to inform their superiors before they are overrun.

Bottom Line – Fun, yet silly war film that doesn’t work well enough. The characters aren’t developed at all and they all seem like caricatures the whole way through. The action scenes are hilarious to watch because they are shot so poorly. The cats is fine and even Richard Attenborough can’t help make this film more enjoyable to watch.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – There were never more than three hundred fifty men in the L.R.D.G. at any given time. (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (5/10)
