“Never forget to ask about the money.” – Nikki

Brief Synopsis – An unemployed architect finds a job as a driver online yet doesn’t realize that it’s for a prostitute.
My Take on it – This is a film that I came across by accident and knew nothing about before watching it.
I have always been a fan of Jason Biggs’ comedy work ever since he started out in the American Pie films more than twenty years ago.
This film has a fun premise that unfortunately isn’t enjoyable enough by the way that it is presented to us.
Biggs does a nice job in the lead role and his character’s realistic naiveté in the situations that he encounters helps make things even more entertaining to watch unfold even if it’s far from perfect.
Due to the premise of this film, it’s expected that they would take things a bit too far and they cross the line of decency a few times along the way.
The chemistry between Biggs and his real life wife Jenny Mollen comes across quite realistically but their characters interactions are somewhat limited since their relationship is just a sub-plot in the film.
The film does have a few very clever scenes that helps show some very smart ingenuity on the part of these characters.
They do get themselves into some very strange situations that are the kind that most people would never choose to experience in real life.
Bottom Line – Funny premise that just isn’t enjoyable enough. Biggs is nice in the lead role and his character’s naivete works to helping make this more entertaining to watch. With this kind of premise, things do go a bit to far and it is quite apparent throughout. The chemistry between Biggs and his real life wife Mollen seems quite genuine even if their interactions are a bit limited. They do have a few clever scenes that show some ingenuity of these characters in situations that most of us would never really experience in real life.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen are real husband and wife in real life too. (From IMDB)
Rating – BAFTA Worthy (6/10)
