Brief Synopsis – The crew of the Enterprise must travel back in time to the 20th Century in order to find a way to save the planet following an unknown catastrophe.
Bottom Line – Such a fun chapter in the series. The mix of time travel and humor works so well in keeping things so enjoyable from start to finish. The premise is superbly chosen and allows for these characters to really shine. The way that they deal with being thrust into a different time and place is quite engaging to watch because of the way that the fish out of water aspects play out. Leonard Nimoy does a wonderful job Directing this film and his familiarity with the cast and characters help keep things so powerful throughout. Highly Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Scotty helps Dr. Nichols “invent” transparent aluminium, which, in real life, became possible 23 years later in 2009. In part, it was developed by Professor Justin Wark of Oxford University’s Department of Physics. (From IMDB)
Rating – Oscar Worthy (9/10) (upgrade from original review)
