This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!
“Don’t start something you can’t finish.” – George
Number of Times Seen – at least twice (Cable in the 80’s and 15 Sep 2020)
Brief Synopsis – A musician discovers an angel with a broken wing who needs his help in order to recover.
Bottom Line – Extremely silly film that doesn’t work on any level. The characters are all really superficial and they never take any time to develop any of the at all which makes t so much harder to really care about what happens. The story is also presented in a really strange and silly way and fails to find ways to be engaging to the audience in any way. None of the cast is even able to help make this more enjoyable even with Phoebe Cates and Emmanuelle Béart in key roles. None of the jokes seem to work here and they all pretty much fall flat.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Director Tom McLoughlin auditioned and wanted to cast Jim Carrey in the lead role. Producer Dino DeLaurentiis vetoed it as he thought Carrey was too much of a comedian and not leading man material. (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy (2/10)
