Satisfaction (1988)

This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

“Okay. We’re going in there now, and anybody who doesn’t act elegant is a douchebag.” – Daryl Shane

Number of Times Seen – 1 (11 Oct 2020)

Brief Synopsis – An all girl band tries to make it big when they are invited to perform for the summer at a beach resort.

Bottom Line – terrible film that fails to work on so many levels The cast is quite weak and they never do anything that would make them more sympathetic to the viewer. Justine Bateman is a great actress, but she isn’t a lead actress and it shows here. Liam Neeson has a relatively small supporting role and he isn’t given the time or characteristics to shine here. The songs are ok, but nothing stands out among the rest.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Liam Neeson has said he took this role just after filming Suspect (1987), where he played a mute derelict, just to be in the sunshine around pretty girls. He admitted he still has not seen the film. (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy (3/10)
