A White, White Day (2019)

This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

“Have you ever cheated on your wife?” – Ingimundur

Number of Times Seen – 1 (19 Oct 2020)

Brief Synopsis – A retired policeman suspects that his wife had an affair before her death and will do all he can to find the man and make him pay.

Bottom Line – Intriguing premise that plays out quite well, but something still seems off. The mix between a man wanting revenge and a detective story works well here in establish how both are so ingrained in this character. The story plays out in some unsuspecting ways and that has somewhat to do with the twists and turns that pop up along the way. The fact that the main character is portrayed in a sympathetic way helps make it even more enjoyable to watch unfold.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Selected to represent Iceland at the 2020 Academy Awards. (Best Foreign Film). (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (6/10)
