“If you want my secrets, you’ll eat my sandwich!” – Steven Mills
Number of Times Seen – 1 (20 Oct 2020)
Brief Synopsis – A scientist accidentally sends a message to outer space which is intercepted by an alien race who wish to understand how it works.
Bottom Line – Silly but somewhat fun film that is both hit and miss. Great cast led by Dan Aykroyd and Kim Bassinger who plays these characters as quirky as can be. Unfortunately, they have almost no chemistry together. The story plays out in a pretty fun direction despite things being so predictable throughout. The special effects of the film seem a bit archaic and helps make this less realistic here. Loved seeing Alyson Hannigan in a film as a teen.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Alyson Hannigan dance date is Seth Green. The two would later play Willow and Oz on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997).” (From IMDB)
Rating – BAFTA Worthy (5/10)
