This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!
Number of Times Seen – 1 (20 Oct 2020)
Brief Synopsis – A women trying to get by, accidentally angers a stranger at a red light which causes for catastrophic results.
Bottom Line – Really fun thriller that comes across really realistically. The story unfolds in a believable way which helps things throughout. The cats is superb and Russell Crowe looks so out of place here, yet finds a way to keep things feeling genuine throughout because he is truly the glue of this film. Caren Pistorian plays the victim so well here and allows us to feel her fear and trepidation throughout while she seeks a way out. The film is paced really well and the fact that the movie is around 90 minutes, shows that they wanted to give us a taut thriller that doesn’t need any filler along the way. Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – This is the first feature film to receive a wide release in American theaters after a period of five months (from mid March to mid August 2020) following the lockdown of movie theaters due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with an opening of 4.4 million on 1,819 screens (although many of the screens were still at drive-in movie theaters because many states did not reopen their indoor theaters until later). (From IMDB)
Rating – Globe Worthy (7/10)
