Brief Synopsis – After a rock star is brutally murdered in his bed, the police investigate a local crime novelist who he was dating.

Bottom Line – Superb crime thriller that gets better and better the more times one watches it. The cast is amazing and the chemistry between Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone is off the charts. Their erotic scenes together seem so realistic and that enhances the plot so much. The best part about this film is the fact that the characters are al quite intelligent and everything they do seem very thought out throughout. The plot does a wonderful job keeping the mystery ambiguous and one needs to watch the film numerous times in order to fully get everything that happens here. Highly Recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Upon seeing the film, Steven Spielberg noticed Wayne Knight and immediately wanted him to play Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park. He stayed through the end credits just to find his name, and Knight ended up being the first actor cast. (From IMDB)

Rating – Oscar Worthy (9/10) (upgrade from original review)
