Surviving Christmas (2004)

This a Covid-19 2020 minireview!

“Some things cannot be unseen! ” – Brian Valco

Number of Times Seen – 1 (14 Dec 2020)

Brief Synopsis – A lonely business man hires the family living in his childhood home to help him re-experience Christmas as he did when he was a kid.

Bottom Line – Really silly film that doesn’t work at all even with James Gandolfini and Ben Affleck involved. The story itself is uninspiring and the characters are quite annoying the whole way through.  The various story threads don’t help make things more interesting and in the end actually make things even less interesting to watch unfold.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – John Wight, who was Ben Affleck’s stand-in , wrote a devastating depiction of what the filming was like in his book “Dreams that Die: Misadventures in Hollywood”. (From IMDB)

Rating – Razzie Worthy (3/10)
