My Take on it – This is a documentary that I came across by accident and was quite intrigued to watch due to my brief knowledge on the events of the hostage crisis in Iran in 1979.
They do a wonderful job here giving us such a fascinating look at these events.
We easily are able to get a clear impression regarding all of the factors that were able to contribute to the fact that this mission ended up failing.
The interviews are great here because they let us hear the perspectives of some of the hostages, some of the terrorists, some of the men who were on the mission, politicians and family members affected by these events.
This film goes into much detail out the way that the plan for the rescue was formed and how it was eventually implemented.
In order to allows us to get a clearer look at how some of these events transpired, they expertly utilize animation in order to help visualize things.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The occupants of the C130 are looking out of the left-hand paratroop door at the fire; someone closes the door but it slides left to right. The paratroop door opens vertically, so it should slide down to close. (From IMDB)
Rating – Globe Worthy (8/10)
