Tnx Tiffany and Rebekah for letting me take part!

Number of Times Seen – 1 (16 Mar 2021)

Brief Synopsis – A young hunter follows her father into the woods to try and rid the area of wolves, but it turns out that things are not so simple as they may seem.

My Take on it – Very interesting take that works quite well in transporting us into a whole different world.

The story feels like a fable of old and keeps things intriguing and interesting the whole way through.

The story plays out in an enjoyable way and that is helped by the great voice cast that add so much to these characters.

Love the way that this is a pseudo werewolf film, yet tells things in a more tender way without the need to venture into the horror genre.

The one things that slightly put me off was the animation, which is beautiful to look at one the one end yet very jarring due to the unique way that it is presented because it doesn’t come across in such a smooth way.

The story tho is able to overcome to peculiar look of things because it can be quite moving in certain places.

The voice cast is great and I loved hearing Sean Bean as the main character’s father.

The rest of them give this story a more powerful Irish presence which helps make things feel perfect for this story’s setting.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – It became the first animated feature to be nominated for “Best International Feature” at the Gotham Awards. (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy (7/10)
