Brief Synopsis – Dialogue-less documentary about how the injection of technology has changed the world.
My Take on it – Another film in this series that makes no sense what so ever despite looking beautiful.
There is no story or narrative and it feels as if most of the shots are quite random and have no consequence to things.
The fact that they were able to get financing for a second film in this series shows that there are people who know how to appreciate this kind of ‘artform’ even if I can never be counted among them.
There is nothing engaging or entertaining about this film and that hurts things far too much.
I truly feel that I wasted another 90 minutes watching this film because nothing that happens here is able to affect the way that people see the world.
There are no characters to care about and once they move from scenario to scenario, there doesn’t seem to be any threads that connect things to the previous segment.
I know that this film must truly have a point to it, yet I was unable to try and find it or even come anywhere close to understanding it and was completely bored for the whole run time.
If anyone out there has an inkling about what these films are trying to show, please try and find a way to enlighten me.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The shot of the truck driving past the Indian boy as he walks along the road is the only staged shot in the film. (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy (2/10)
