Justice Society: World War II (2021)

“Life is dangerous. It shouldn’t stop us from living it.” – Iris West

Number of Times Seen – 1 (28 Apr 2021)

Brief Synopsis – After the Flash gets sent via a time warp to France during World war II, he meets a group of superheroes trying to help the Allies fight the war.

My Take on it – Great story that works really well due to the way that things play out.

The premise is quite good and they allow the viewer to see how both timeless and timely superheroes interact with one another in very dangerous situations with an attempt to help save the world no matter the dangers.

The voice cast is nicely done with some of the more familiar DC voice actors returning to reprise their roles in this story.

Love the way that this film is able to give some very relevant pop culture references to time travel and paradoxes which flow so well within the themes and story of this film.

The animation is also done really well and the coloring of things is ‘almost’ normal, yet subtle differences allow us to see that something is out of whack between the modern world and the word of World War II.

Love the way that this film deals in a round about way with the formation of a band of superheroes working together to try and stop the evils in the world from taking control.

I really hope that they find ways to continue the story of the Justice Society on their own because they can really develop these characters even more in subsequent story lines.
