“I said I’d die for you!” – Ginger
“No. You said you’d die with me. Cause you had nothing better to do.” – Brigitte
Number of Times Seen – 1 (11 Jun 2021)
Brief Synopsis – Two sisters in a small town that are obsessed with death must deal with the fact that one of them may have been bitten by a werewolf.
My Take on it – Horrendous film that is completely off the wall.
The characters aren’t developed well enough which makes it so much harder to sympathize with anything that happens to them along the way.
The story blends together Goth perspectives with supernatural ones and it just never seems to work in the way it is presented.
The makeup and effects used to create these supernatural creatures is fine, but it really doesn’t stand out as looking realistic enough.
The characters aren’t endearing at all to the audience and they never seem to find a way for the viewer to even want to care about what might happen to them.
I can completely understand how this film could become a cult classic, but it isn’t the kind of film that I would normally like and don’t ever expect to watch again after this viewing of it especially given the fact that I wasn’t able to find any worthwhile reasons to enjoy this film.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Along with the coincidence of stars Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins auditioning on the same day, the two actresses were also born in the same hospital, attended the same preschool, elementary school, and private school, and worked through the same talent agency. (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy (1/10)
