Number of Times Seen – 1 (21 Jun 2021)
Brief Synopsis – A bounty hunter reveals Jason’s true origins and what needs to be done in order to stop him forever.
My Take on it – Another poor attempt at trying to change the direction of this series that just doesn’t work at all.
The plot makes Jason an even more supernatural element and that seems to ruin the whole idea of why he was specifically stalking and murdering teenagers at a summer camp for so many films in the franchise.
The only part of this film that I enjoyed was the fact that Steven Williams plays the bounty hunter since he does so in such a fun way throughout.
The way that the spirit of Jason keeps getting transferred from body to body is a bit disturbing especially given the way that he keeps possessing other characters since it once again changes the original direction of the serial killer aspect of these films.
Glad that they finally ended things after this film… or did they???
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Steven Williams would only play bounty hunter Creighton Duke if he could dress as a cowboy. (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy (3/10)
