Number of Times Seen – 1 (15 Aug 2021)

Brief Synopsis – A man walks into an antique store hoping to buy a statue, but is distracted by the girl working there.

Bottom Line – Another fun George and Gracie short that works largely due to its subtlety and directness in everything that it does. The two of them have amazing chemistry and timing which adds so much to the humor of it all. The fact that they were able to make so many short films over the period of a few years and find ways to make each one seem unique and funny in its own way is amazing. Love how their comedy completely relies on verbal jokes as oppose to physical ones which were the mainstream at the time.

Rating – Globe Worthy (7/10)
