Till Death (2021)

“You can’t say you don’t feel the same way about me.” – Tom

“How I feel doesn’t matter.” – Emma

Number of Times Seen – 1 (21 Sep 2021)

Brief Synopsis – A woman in a bad marriage is invited to a romantic weekend getaway by her husband, but nothing is as it seems.

My Take on it – Such a great premise that works really well.

I went into this film knowing absolutely nothing about it beforehand and was pleasantly surprised at the way it kept surprising over and over.

The plot sounded intriguing so I decided to give it a try having no idea what to expect.

There are some really clever twists in the plot that help keep things enjoyable the whole time as the tension keeps rising.

Megan Fox is great in the lead and it’s easy to empathize with everything that her character needs to go through along the way.

Besides Fox, the story isn’t really filled with anyone who stands out, but she still does a nice job carrying it all pretty much by herself.

The story is filled with some great surprises along the way that are mind blowing when trying to wrap your brain around the fact that much of all this is meant to be planned well ahead of time.

They do a really nice job of taking a simple premise and giving the viewer a 90 minute thrill ride that is filled with such great psychological repercussions for everything that happens along the way.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The movie was filmed in Bulgaria. The snow is actually fake, made from paper. In fact, the whole set takes place inside of a studio. (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy (8/10)
