Star Wars Biomes (2021)

Number of Times Seen – 1 (24 Sep 2021)

Brief Synopsis – Virtual tour through numerous key Star Wars locals.

My Take on it – What Star Wars fan wouldn’t want to get a chance to visit one of their favorite locations from a Galaxy Far Far Away?

This shirt film gives everyone that opportunity.

It manages to give the viewer a birds eye look at some of the most popular planetary sites in the saga and they do it in a way that makes the viewer feel as if they are right there.

The added imagery of both indigenous and non-indigenous elements to each of these landscapes is such a treat for fans of the series because it allows the viewer to get an even more intimate feel for what has already transpired in the series.

The speed of the shots and the aerial views are so amazing to watch and they make the viewer feel as if they are right there experiencing the fly-over of these various planets where most fans would love to visit if they could.

The fact that its all done in a fly on the wall way also helps since a few of these locals ae ones that one needs to be quite cautious of the surroundings because of who might actually be living there.

The way that they chose the integrate locals from the original series, the prequels and the extended universe is great and adds so much texture to it all.

Highly Recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The village from the planet Sorgan is the only place not shown in the Star Wars movies. Its first appearance was in the TV series The Mandalorian (2019), The Mandalorian: Chapter 4: Sanctuary (2019). (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy (8/10)
