Brief Synopsis – Documentary about the life and career of Cary Grant, Hollywood actor and star of so many classic movies.
My Take on it – This is a documentary that I came across by accident and was thrilled to see.
Cary Grant is known as one of the best actor’s actor and this documentary tells the story of the how and why he got to that place.
His personal life went through numerous ups and downs over the years and they never try to sugarcoat anything along the way which is great to see.
The interviews with some of his wives, colleagues, friends and even some of the directors who he worked with is great and eye opening about who this man truly was both on and off the screen.
The interviews with film historians are especially enjoyable to watch because their insight is even deeper than the rest into the impact he had on the craft and on the audience.
The movie also allows the viewer to get a better understanding of the drive that he had to be among the very best in all that he did throughout his career.
The stories that they tell about Grant are great and informative throughout.
