Brief Synopsis – A history Professor who’s FBI agent wife was killed during an operation begins to suspect that his new neighbors are terrorists with plans to attack a Federal building.

My Take on it – For my third and final choice for this blogathon, I decided to go with a film that I’ve seen before.

I have always loved conspiracy theory stories and this one is so compelling and thrilling from start to finish.

Jeff Bridges is superb in the lead role and convincingly plays this kind of character.

Tim Robbins and Joan Cusack are also perfect in their roles because of the ambiguous way that they play them.

This is a movie that came out at a perfect time because just two years later, it never would have been made due to the nature of the premise of the story.

The dialogue is written really well and manages to stay so engaging the whole time especially when

The story unfolds in a great way and they manage to throw in some amazing twists and turns along the way that help make things so poignant and powerful in how it all plays out.

Highly Recommended!

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Conspiracy theorists have pointed to key remaining questions in the Oklahoma bombing as proof that there were likely other accomplices, such as unidentified suspects who rented the van used to carry the bomb, reports of undetonated bombs in the building’s remains, suspicious individuals seen in the area days before the bombing, etc. This questioning of the official explanation is similar to what Faraday was trying to tell his students in the class. Rating – Oscar Worthy (9/10) (no change from original review)
