“You can take the guy out of the chair, but you can’t take the chair out of the guy.” – Ned Leeds
Number of Times Seen – 1 (18 Dec 2021)
Brief Synopsis – Peter Parker decides that having his identity revealed might be too much, so he visits Dr. Strange in order to find a way to make the world forget, but even that can lead to disastrous circumstances.
My Take on it – This is a movie that I tried to avoid as many spoilers as possible before seeing and managed to do so in an easier manner than I had expected.
The story picks up right after the previous film ended and allows the characters to gain so much insight into the idea of having a secret identity as opposed to having their identity out in the open.
This is actually one of the very best films in the MCU and is IMHO the best since the new phase has begun.
The choice to introduce the multiverse is a great one and opens u so many possibilities for the characters and for the whole MCU as a whole.
The film expertly utilizes its special effects to enhance the story so much along the way.
It’s rare that the third film in a series is what makes the characters finally try and figure out who he is and what he needs to do in order to move forward and they expertly do it here because if the way it all plays out.
Tom Holland once again proves that he is a great Spider-Man and really shines here.
I can’t wait to see where they take this character in the future almost as much as I can;t wait to see this film again.
Highly Highly Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Benedict Cumberbatch has admitted to not reading the full script, wanting to surprise himself with the final product. (From IMDB)
