Brief Synopsis – A pregnant single woman must deal with her married lover while her baby makes observations from the inside.

My Take on it – Hilarious concept that works so well due to the fun writing.

Bruce Willis steals the show as the voice (thoughts) of Mikey and that helps give a unique perspective for the story.

The plot story of the mother played by Kirstie Alley is pretty simple but having John Travolta character show up as the new friend helping out after she gets into his cab adds a new dynamic to the story.

The special effects are innovative yet feel very outdated due to the primitive look of it thirty plus years in the future, yet they still manage to make it work.

The jokes are done well and keep the story flowing from start to finish.

The supporting cats is also great with Olympia Dukakis and George Segal adding even more points that are both poignant and funny due to the way that each of their characters acts along the way.

Loved seeing Abe Vigota in a few scenes and his character really reminded me of my own grandfather in how he acts throughout.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – According to Kirstie Alley in her memoir, she fell in love with John Travolta during filming, but she stayed faithful to her husband. (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy (8/10) (no change from original review)
