Men In Black 3 (2012)

“Don’t ask questions you don’t want to know the answer to.” – Agent K

Number of Times Seen – 1 (14 Feb 2022)

Brief Synopsis – J must go back in time to stop an alien from changing the course of history by killing K in 1969.

My Take on it – This is another film in the franchise that I decided to skip over due to not having much interest back when it came out.

Boy was that a mistake since I think it is actually the best film of the entire series.

Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are once again great in these roles and the addition of Josh Brolin doing an impersonation of a younger Jones is so spot ion and fun to watch.

As a fan of time travel stories, I found this one to be done in such a fun and engaging way that leaves things so entertaining from start to finish.

The way that they depict time travel in their universe is done really well and feels very unique in the method.

The story adds some emotional aspects to things that work really well and take the viewer by surprise at points that are least expected.

The way that they deal with the out of place, out of time issues is great and helps keep things so much fun especially when showing the various technological differences between over 4 decades.

The special effects are great and help keep things feeling fresh and enjoyable from start to finish.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Many of the aliens in the 1969 MiB headquarters were intentionally made to look like aliens from old black-and-white alien movies from around the same time. (From IMDB)

Rating – Globe Worthy (8/10)
