“Do you know that it’s safer to fly then it is to drive a car?” – Randy
Number of Times Seen – 1 (23 Feb 2022)
Brief Synopsis – A group of men enamored by the same woman tell the story of how they each came into her life.
My Take on it – Such a clever film that works so much better than I would have expected.
Parts of the story are quite predictable, but the various twists and turns along the way help make things so much more enjoyable to watch unfold.
The cast is superb with Matt Dillon, John Goodman, Paul Reiser and Michael Douglas all dealing with the mysterious woman played by Liv Tyler.
The way that the story shows the various perspectives of the story by having each of the characters talk to a confidant works really well even if things only make sense once the viewer puts them all together for a complete look at the events transpiring here.
The music also helps make things more enjoyable and that enhances the way things play out along the way.
Love the way that most of the characters are played by actors that are seen as being so far removed from these kind of characters which helps make things so much more fun to watch.
The script is great and the way that this story connects between the various storylines is so much fun to watch unfold here due to the way it all moves along.
Recommended!
