Number of Times Seen – Twice (30 May 2004 and 18 May 2022)
Brief Synopsis – A government scientist is accused of being an alien attempting to be used as a bomb against Earth and must do all he can to prove his innocence.
My Take on it – Intriguing idea told in such a messy fashion. The story feels very disjointed and doesn’t make much sense in the way it plays out. Amazing cast led by Gary Sinese and Madeline Stow just doesn’t pan out because of the way this story is put together. This kind of story ahs been done so much better than the way that they do it here, which is a shame.
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s short story “The Impostor” was originally planned to be one segment (about forty minutes) of a three-part science fiction movie. The production company liked the early “dailies” so much, that the idea was fleshed out into a feature-length film. The other segments grew into the features Mimic (1997) and Alien Love Triangle (2008). (From IMDB)
Rating – Razzie Worthy (2/10)
