“I *am* a band geek. I just never joined the band. ” – Jim
Number of Times Seen – At least Twice (10 Oct 2002 and 14 Jun 2022)
Brief Synopsis – After finishing their freshman year in University, the gang from High School get back together for one last fling over the summer before they need to get more serious with life.
My Take on it – This film manages to do something that many sequels fail to do… it allows the story of these characters to move on to a realistic scenario.
In order to show what happens with the characters from the first film, they extend the story to the following summer where the characters have moved on a bit in life, yet still feel trapped in a high school mindset even once they have entered college.
It’s great to see most of the cast from the original return and the camaraderie and chemistry between them still works quite well as the story moves forward.
Things aren’t as fun and innovative as they were in the original film, but still manage to keep things fun, raunchy and engaging throughout.
The story is taken in to some entertaining places and that helps keep it enjoyable to watch unfold in some predictable yet fun ways from start to finish.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Seann William Scott improvised some of his dialogue, this can be observed by his castmates’ reactions in some scenes, such as when he tells Jessica he wants to know how many women she has slept with that year – Natasha Lyonne’s amused reaction is genuine.(From IMDB)
Rating – Globe Worthy (7/10)
