Brief Synopsis – Documentary about an aspiring filmmaker who would change the face of movies
My Take on it – Great documentary that allows the viewer to get a much better understanding of who Sturges was and what kind of times he was living in. The fact that he was able to become one of the groundbreaking directors who would change the face of the movie industry is told so well that it gives the viewer a great perspective on the how and why this man was essential for moving things in a certain direction that in hindsight would prove to be so profound. This film was abit too short tho and could have been a bit more comprehensive on all that it tells the viewer about the earlier days of the movie industry.
