Brief Synopsis – As a natural disaster looms that might destroy the animals on the island, a debate begins as to the ethical issues of the day.

My Take on it – This is a fine addition to the series that adds a whole new level to the story because it deals with things from a very different ethical perspective.

Love the fact that they bring back both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and help develop their characters even more as things play out.

Jeff Goldblum has a glorified cameo that just shows his characters opinion on the whole situation.

As with all films in this series, the special effects are amazing and enhance the story by adding some very thrilling sequences along the way.

The new characters aren’t developed well enough and they miss the opportunity to take things in an even riskier/reward direction.

It doesn’t have the magical feel of the original film and sometimes its far too apparent that these films just aren’t innovative or original enough despite still finding ways to stay engaging and be thrilling.

MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – Screenwriter Colin Trevorrow said about Rexy, “We’ve been following this same character since the beginning; she’s the same T-Rex that was in Jurassic Park (1993) and in Jurassic World (2015). She is iconic, not just because she’s a T-Rex, but because she’s this T-Rex.” (From IMDB)

Rating – BAFTA Worthy (6/10) (no change from original review)
