Number of Times Seen – 1 (2 Sep 2022)

Brief Synopsis – Biography about the life and career of actor Burt Lancaster.

My Take on it – Such an informative documentary about Lancaster.

They do a nice job of showing how prolific Lancaster’s career was and what helped push him to do the best he could in all that he did.

The film has some great interviews from various people in both Lancaster’s personal and professional career over the years.

They do a wonderful job showing how he lived his life and what was important to him in life and how his work life was very different from the life he lived with his wife and children.

He was very active in many social causes and was one of the leaders of activism in the entertainment world in the 1950’s and 60’s.

Love the way that this movie shows Lancaster, warts and all by allowing the viewer to hear not just of his major accomplishments, but also his short comings in life and career.
