Let’s see what I thought of this movie:

“Marriages don’t break up on account of infidelity. It’s just a symptom that something else is wrong.” – Jess
Number of Times Seen – Too many to count (Theater, DVD, 22 Jul 2013, 29 April 2014, 2 Mar 2015, 13 Aug 2019, 1 Jan 2020, 3 Nov 2021 and 30 Sep 2022)

Brief Synopsis – Two people who share a ride from Chicago to New York as College graduates, meet up again 10 years later and spark a friendship.
My Take on it – Such an amazing movie that is so enjoyable to watch every single time.
Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan have superb chemistry here and it’s quite surprising since it isn’t necessarily what one might expect.
The story plays out in a very realistic fashion and that adds so much to the believability of it all.
The conversations and dialogue are extremely engaging and that enhances things so much because it helps the viewer understand and relate to these characters so much more.
The music is great and is able to help keep things moving at a great pace.
The courting stories that appear throughout the film are great fun and add to the whole idea of how fate can sometimes intervene in our lives to help us find the right path to the future in so many aspects including love.
Love the way that the film integrates New York City into the story and that helps keep things feeling so real throughout.
Highly Highly Recommended!
MovieRob’s Favorite Trivia – The orgasm scene was filmed at Katz’s Deli, an actual restaurant on New York’s E. Houston Street. The table at which the scene was filmed now has a plaque on it that reads, “Where Harry met Sally…hope you have what she had!” (From IMDB)
Rating – Oscar Worthy (10/10) (no change from original review)
