Brief Synopsis – Axel Foley travels back to L.A. after a Beverly Hills Captain gets shot while investigating a new crime spree in the city.
My Take on it – Very fun sequel that despite not being as great as the original, it still manages to work so well.
It’s great once again to revisit these characters and that helps enhance the story so much.
Murphy’s humor is perfect here and that allows for the characters to get into some very fun situations along the way.
The film does a great job of reuniting the main cast and also finds a way to add some new characters to the mix that adds so much to the way it all plays out.
Once again the music is superb and allows for things to move at such a great pace.
The way that they story plays out is done in a great way since it helps keep it all so much fun.
The fact that the characters have better chemistry here helps because there is no longer any need to introduce them since the audience is already very familiar with them as are they familiar with one another.
The story isn’t as strong as the one in the original, yet it still manages to work throughout.
