Brief Synopsis – A family leaves their lives behind in Australia in order to make it in the music industry in the US in the early 90’s.
My Take on it – Intriguing idea that is elevated by the fact that it is based on a true story. The way that the story unfolds is done in a nice way which shows how hard work and perseverance can pay off in the end. The faith and commitment that these characters have is shown in a very realistic way and that helps things come across in a more powerful and inspirational way. The fact that many members of this family contributed to the making of this film is so enjoyable to see because we get to not only see the events here, but also the way it affects things in the future for these real characters.
